Okay, this may make me sound like an utter freak but here goes...
Does anyone else have a weird brain glitch where, if you play a repetitive game too much (i.e., something like Farm Town on Facebook, or Peggle on the iPod, that has the same "harvest" or "ball bounce" motion over and over and over), your brain can't seem to stop "playing" the game when you go to bed?
This is bad enough that if I make the mistake of doing it, my brain doesn't seem to drop into a proper sleep and stays semi-awake trying to play the game the whole night and I wake up exhausted. What it means is that if I discover a certain game triggers this odd insomnia-game-playing thing, I have to severely curtail the amount of time I play it in a day/week.
I hate it. Graham doesn't have this particular glitch in his brain and I haven't met anyone else who does, so I'm curious if any of you do.
It doesn't happen with games that have more varied actions, like the Sims or Civ. Just with games that are, in essence, the same thing over and over.
